Designed and sculpted by me in a 3d program, then 3D printed in resin, this piece comes to life through layers of soft pastel airbrushing and delicate hand painted details. Each head is adorned with a full face of makeup, and finished with carefully hand painted lipstick and black eyelashes.

Each alien eye planter is a labor of weird little love! I designed it from scratch in a 3D sculpting program, and it takes 28 hours to print in three different colors using eco-friendly PLA. The slow process and layered details make every one feel like a tiny piece of space art.

My name is Cris. I’m the human critter behind CattywampusTX, a one-woman shop and creative outlet where I bring my ideas to life in many different forms.
I’m a self-taught artist of sorts, and everything here comes from a place of curiosity, experimentation, and a love for making things.
I create and meticulously hand-paint my own figurines, which begin as digital sculpts and are brought into the real world through 3D printing. Alongside that, I sew, design stickers, greeting cards, and crochet wearable goods and other such things, exploring different mediums depending on where inspiration takes me. Each piece is made in small batches, with attention to detail and an appreciation for the imperfect.
